Dr Yadir Singh | Oral Surgeon
Originally from Durban, South Africa, Dr Yadir Singh has worked in public hospitals and private practices in Tasmania since 2008.
He has dedicated his career to training and providing oral surgical care since 2012.
Dr Singh’s path to specialisation led him to the University of Sydney, where he completed his training and remained as a lecturer to mentor the next generation of specialist students.
His leadership skills were further recognised during his time as acting Head of Department in the Department of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology at the Sydney Dental Hospital.
Dr Singh combines his academic background with a wealth of practical clinical experience.
He is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association Tasmania Branch and a founding member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral Surgeons (ANZAOS)
Dr Singh holds the following qualifications:
- BDS – Medical University of Southern Africa
- Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry (Surgical Dentistry) – The University of Sydney
- Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) – The University of Sydney
- Membership in the Specialist field of Oral Surgery – Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons
- Fellowship – Royal College of Surgeons of England
- Graduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership – University of Tasmania
